Best Tomatoes

Heres a post from months ago I was too lazy to hit “publish”.
This was a bad year for tomatoes at our house.  I was generally so grossed out by the every fungus/blight/bug that I dont’ think I ate one that I enjoyed.  Lately Morée slipped a few into various meals.  Ends up they [...]

Garden Update

As you can see some things are growing more than others.  This is the last of our onions and green beans.  We got a ton of these Serrano chilies and its all from one plant.  If you want some just ask but take head as they are hot hot hot.  Pulled a couple peppers but [...]

We used the square foot method for planting [...]

Before and After May 15 & June 18

A month makes a difference.  We have gone from brown to green.  The yard has gotten a little browner but the garden has not.

Greens/Herbs Bed - It contains, Carrots, Kale, Spinach, Onions, Lettuce(Black Seeded Simpson, Butter Crunch), Parsley, Basil(two different types), Radishes.

The only reason the bed is not completely covered in greens is because we [...]

Mmm slugs

The kids like to play with bugs while we work in the garden.  Oliver picked up this slug so I asked him to pretend like he was going to eat it.  Come on! Its good for little boys!
