This year at my annual review I didn’t get a raise. Fortunately it wasn’t because my performance. Nobody got raises including managers due to the “economic crisis”. I’m not sure how much of this I believe but there is one thing I know fo sho. When Obama and the man are getting me down my Nation is lifting me up. Its just like Springsteen said:
Yea, me and Frankie laughin’ and drinkin’
Nothin’ feels better than blood on blood
Takin’ turns dancin’ with Maria as the band played
“Night of the Johnstown Flood”
I catch him when he’s strayin’ like any brother would
Man turns his back on his family he just ain’t no good
I told you before I’m a card carrying member. Being a part of The Nation has its benefits of the best kind…monetarily of course. Morée and her brothers are 1/4 Hawaiian and really they get nothing besides good tans, free land on Hawaii, and Pearl Harbor. I’m 5/256 Osage Indian and I get $2,000 for myself and all three of my little indians…so yeah it makes perfect sense. Who needs a raise when you have your ancestors who keep on giving?
The Clinical/Medical Service Program will provide all Osage tribal members, regardless of age or residence, with monetary assistance for medical-related needs (i.e. eyeglasses, dental, hearing aides, co-pays, medications, and other special medical equipment). All Osage tribal members will qualify for $500 per year toward these types of needs.
